As you know, I’m thrilled to watch the finches nesting in my carport. They are spending more and more time in their nest. I feel sure there will be a little clutch of eggs soon.
The blossoms on my plum and pear tree are delightful and I’m spending more time sitting outside in the morning just soaking in the loveliness.
Your tea with herbs sounds lovely but I’m sticking to my coffee for now. Today I’m going to make lemon and ginger posset with rhubarb to celebrate the flavors of spring.
Happy Spring Miriam and happy birthday to your granddaughter!
All solid suggestions for welcoming Spring. I'll be doing 3,6 and 7. No porch but once I unseal our balcony's weather stripping and open it for the season usually later in April, I'll be happy to take out my chair :)
Thanks, Melanie. You too! I going to grill outside tonight and do a nice long porch sit - unforunately the whole westerdn U.S. is under this insanely warm heat-dome right now, and it feels like summer already. But I’ll take advantage of it b/c this time last year we had quite a bit of snow.
Sweetness🌸 The arrival of spring and a birthday for the little one. What a great day!
Yes. Sending smiles your way Kyra!

Sounds perfect 🌼 Oh lovely - tell me more about your posset!
My ginger and rhubarb Posset is just cream, sugar, lemon zest, ginger syrup, set in the fridge and served with poached rhubarb.
I serve it in a pretty glass desert bowl.
Simple but luscious.
It sounds heavenly! Thank you - I'm going to try this weekend. Stay cool...
Thank you Miriam. I'm not fond of this heat. Well have a lovely weekend with your friends.
