The Spring Porch Invitation
A seasonal invitation to join the porch membership - with a small handmade thank-you gift from the studio
Hello my dear readers,
This spring I am opening a small invitation for readers who would like to step a little further onto the porch.
For a short time, readers who join as Porch Companions or Studio Stewards with an annual membership to Letters from The Whiskey Porch will receive a small handmade thank-you gift from my studio here at Juniper Hill Cottage.
These little artworks are part of what I call the Gift Library - one way of expressing my gratitude to the readers who help sustain this work.

This Season’s Studio Gifts
For this spring invitation (my first time offering this) I’ve prepared a small batch of handmade pieces from the studio:
• flameworked glass beads which I make at my torch
• small turned wood pieces from my late father’s workshop
• and a few other small surprises from the porch studio
Each one is slightly different - entirely unique and handcrafted - part of what makes them special.
These are not mass-produced items, but small objects made slowly over time and shared with readers who choose to support the work here.
Story Behind The Wood Pieces
Three years ago this spring, my father passed away.
What he left behind for me wasn’t much - just a few photographs and several chaotic boxes filled with pieces from his workshop. It has taken me this long to finally sort through them.
There were whimsical objects he loved to make, along with pieces we collaborated on together. For much of my adult life, that making was one of the few ways we stayed connected. It was complicated.
There’s a lot of heart and meaning in these pieces. For me.
So, some of the gifts in this spring invitation come not only from my art studio, but from his as well.
A Small Batch is Set Aside
Because the gifts are handmade, the number available for this spring invitation is naturally limited.
When the spring batch is spoken for, the invitation simply closes until the next season.

Studio gifts are available for U.S. mailing addresses at this time. After joining, I’ll reach out to you by email to collect shipping details.
