I’d love to one day. First I need to know I don’t have to go down to Phoenix for healthcare, actual air flights and everything ;) I do always find it enjoyable for a few days though.
Well, we don't have everything in the world at our fingertips like you would in Phoenix. But that's the whole point! It's beautiful and full of nature and lots of good restaurants and... And, no we don't need to go to Phoenix for healthcare, but we can easily. We don't need to go to Phoenix for flights, but we can. And if there's anything you're heart desires that you can't find around town, the beautiful thing is that Phoenix is only 90 minutes to the north side and 2 hours to central, downtown and all it has to offer. Anyway, maybe - one day! 😉
Don’t get me wrong I love the nature and beauty of Prescott and how close it is relatively to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. You actually have a lot for the area’s size—Trader Joe’s and Costco! And you have the most scenic Panera in the U.S. I believe.
My Aunt has had to routinely go South for lots of healthcare that couldn’t be handled locally or timely, so that’s my frame of reference on that. And my husband’s work travel can’t handle a couple of United connector flights a day and no time to go in and out of Sky Harbor.
Maybe when our situation is different. In the meantime, I love visiting and hope to again this Fall.
Well if you're constantly flying for work, I get it. That's just too much. Maybe we can meet at the Panera, have some soup, and soak up that view next time you’re here - you just let me know!
Summer fare...this week I made vegetarian paella with white miso and a dash of ras el hangout. It's delicious and full of fresh tomatoes, spinach, green peas and love! Bookshelves? I think someone would be utterly confused by mine. Full of everything from Lord of the Rings to The Scarlet Letter. Apparently I read a lot of variety!
