I want that door knocker! A space I love in my smallish 1898 era home is a lounging couch. We turned the old parlor into a library. The spot lets me sit amongst the books I so love to learn, create, daydream, whatever.

Small homes are where it's at. You must only surround yourself with things you love. There's no space for noisy clutter.

Yes! I love that: You are so right. When it’s a small space, everything (the stuff) is looked at through such a different lens. If it’s not truly meaningful - out it goes. Which means that you end up being surrounded by just the lovely treasures and nothing else. I love that angle. I may borrow that in future if you don’t mind!?

And oh my - a lounging couch? Sounds heavenly. Would love to see images of your 1898 home if you feel like sharing.

My corner has a bay type window; it’s a must for writing and working in my opinion. Thanks for the glimpse of your space. Have a great weekend.

Hi Lisa! I agree - windows that bring the outdoors in are a must. You too - enjoy the weekend!
