Hi Miriam. It feels like spring here in the high desert. The birds are making all sorts of noise, I think they’re ready for spring. I’m feeling bummed about my garden. I really want to start growing but there’s a lot to sort out before I can get going. I’ll take your advice and start slowly. Each improvement will be a win.
Hi Denise. I know - it’s spring although we haven’t really had winter yet!! I’m so sorry your garden plans are delayed. That can be frustrating, but it also gives you time to get to know your new space and property without jumping the gun. That can be a huge advantage in the long run. Truly! Hope you have a lovely weekend my friend.
Miriam, I'm with you on using the not so nice days to get your place in order so when the nice weather is finally here regularly you're free to enjoy it.
In Chicago we are also having roller coaster weather record breaking 60s one day and 30s with light snow the next. Fortunately the ground tends to stay clearer now which is what is most important to me.
Hi Melanie! It’s been such a weird winter here and while I don’t dislike the balmy 60 degree days, it’s definitely confusing the garden and the trees. We’ve had very little snow this winter, although we’ve still got a couple months to go before we can write that off. For you I’m sure that having less snow and ice piled up is a refreshing thing!
