I'm really glad you reshared this Miriam as I must've missed it when it first came out. You're the writer and publisher and have to share what resonates with you and your POV. That's what your people come to you for.
It can feel personal when a piece you've worked hard on doesn't get the response you'd hoped for or somehow drives people to leave, but all you can do is stay true to you and those who are attracted to that will stay.
As you know, I write on a number of diverse topics for those 50+ and I recognize not every one that I cover will be of interest to everyone, but I hope they always enjoy the writing, personality, positivity and empowerment I always try for in every piece. It's all we can really do.

Some great wisdom here, Miriam! Yes, beauty for its own sake. Absolutely! Beauty is a value. And living a true life. This is what I'm pondering right now as well. We have limited time on this earth. We need to make it true.
